In remembrance of the coffee houses of yore, where poets and the "wordsmiths" gathered to share the wonders their words might evoke, we launch our 2023 version of  "the coffee house."

We are calling on all Poets, Writers, and Wordsmiths to read and share their poetry/writings in an accepting ambiance, with a laid back, albeit enthusiastic audience!

Come read your poetry or written words, in an accepting ambiance of our wondrous diversity. We are beginning a series of gatherings for poets, writer, wordsmiths on the  2nd Wednesday of each month...

Each reader is allowed 5 minutes.Sign-ups are first in, first read.  

You don't have to participate! 

You may wish to enjoy the creative expression of others. 

Coffee & snacks are available to purchase.

 Doors open 6:30pm. Admission $5.

Series includes a FREE, private, 1 hour,  hands-on Reiki teaching/healing session, with Rev. Zan, during our study of Reiki III, Part 1 or 2.

 If you have taken Reiki with me before, and wish to do so again, you may take the class(es) for a modest donation of your choice.

Rev. Bill Adams will assist Rev. Zan in her Reiki Classes. Bill is a Masterful Reiki Practitioner, and an excellent assistant and dear friend. Rev. Zan is so appreciative to him for the healing, wisdom and help he has given her over the years.

A Personal Note From Rev. Zan: 

This is most likely the last Reiki series I teach, as retirement 

seems to be calling me. I will teach this final one, as I have 

had some requests of late, and because teaching Reiki,

 and watching the students evolve is one of my 

most favorite things to do!

REIKI is an ancient form of hands-on healing, whose roots go back to Siddharta Buddha, and the India-Nepal border in 620BC. Modern day REIKI was brought to the western world by Dr. Mikado Usui in 1922.

The word REIKI is two Japanese words, REI which means "Divine Source or Higher Power" and KI, means "Life Force Energy."

Reiki classes are spiritual journeys of breath, sound, meditation, chants,  history, practices, working with Chakras and intention to help us overcome our mindset limitations. Once out of the way, they open a gateway for healing. In Reiki we are working with the "healing energy," that is available to all  humans. We study symbols brought forth by Reiki Masters a long time ago from spirit, connected with symbols, forms and breath. The study of Reiki is a powerful path of initiation into this ancient, wondrous, healing art. This is also a study of the "Light" that we are.

The planet needs a many Reiki Masters as possible, at this time in our evolution, to spread light, love, peace and goodwill.
