12.12.24 PRISM OF LIGHT CEREMONY

On Dec. 12, 2024, sixteen years after it was first anchored over southwestern Florida, the Prism of Light will be permanently set for the next generation of spiritual workers. The Prism was first consecrated the night of June 20, 2008 at Unity of Sarasota's Labyrinth. On 12.12.24, Unity's Labyrinth will once again be used for the final ceremony.
The 9 Original Anchors will be present, as will the children (now adults) who released the Sands of the World into the Gulf on 12.12.12. The original ceremonialists and singers, drummers and dancers will also join the convocation. During the ceremony, the Mandala of Peace will be given to the leaders of the next generation who will continue the work.
All members of the extended spiritual community, men and women, spiritual centers and organization, are invited to attend and to participate in this final ceremony.

winter solstice, CelebratION AND CEREMONY
Led By Rev. Zan Benham, Butterfly Deerwoman
Rev. Zan Butterfly Deerwoman in conjunction with Unity of Sarasota will be facilitating a Winter Soltice Celebration & Ceremony on Saturday, December 21, 6 pm at the Labyrinth behind the church.
WHAT TO BRING:
Bring a chair upon which to sit, drums or rattles to shake or beat, bug spray for safe keeping, water for thirst, some money for donating to support upkeep of the Labyrinth. Wear your colorful, comfy fall ceremonial clothes? We will drum, chant and earth dance our way around the fire in the Celebration of the Winter Season.
WINTER SOLTICE:
The Winter Solstice, marks the shortest, darkest day of the year. From this longest night forward, the days grow longer.
This Winter Solstice, we will have participation from the Women's Meditation Community.
Rev. Zan Benham, ButterflyDeerwoman leads the Ceremony and Celebration, assisted by many other Lights from our community.
This Winter Solstice hearkens a Sacred time of Holy days, of Hanukkah, Christmas (Christ Mass), and Kwanzaa with a New Moon on the 30th. This marks a time of endings, a pause before new beginnings. In the darkness of the twilight, we let go to the dream, with soft surrender, as if we were birthing ourselves once again into that authentic Soul of our Being.
This transformation gives us a wonderful opportunity to bring these softer, more hopeful frequencies forward with us in 2024. If we have the good Light of Creator within us, then how great can we Shine Our Light?
Join us to bathe your heart and soul in the beauty and peace this season.
Friday's ceremony will honor these qualities. Together we will hold sacred space for the power of love, light, humility and peace to transcend and infiltrate all beings on this planet and that we may emulate the path of respect and forgiveness for all beings, including ourselves. It is time for us to connect deeply with one another, the earth, the oceans and all people.
Rev. Zan Benham, Butterfly Deerwoman will be officiating this event, along with many other members of the community at the beloved Labyrinth at Unity of Sarasota.

We are living in unprecedented times. There is so much turmoil in the world around us. Our challenges as a humanity, and as a nation seem accentuated, with so many contrary views and opinions, that it is often hard to know what is real and what is fantasy! It is often hard to find ones own inner peace!
Meantime to all of you, I say, hold on to that peaceful place within, that place that can remember those quieter, steadfast times, when even Mother Nature was more obliging. Guidance tells me to find ease, with great hopefulness, expectation and patience for the unfolding of balanced and easier times. I can feel this being called forth in the hearts of people throughout planet. Bring yourself to this Shaman Journey, and may the magic of it give you guidance to empower you long the way.
A SHAMAN JOURNEY is similar to guided meditation enhanced by the heart beat of the large mother drum. The Journey will take us down and out through the dimensions of our imagination where reality and dream time interweave into a perfect tapestry based on your own special rhythms, understandings and frequencies.
We travel together into our own shaman's dream for our own personal guidance and discovery. This is an adventure and exploration into realms where information, messages, connections and relationships magically unfold.
Through the reverberation of the drum, inner gateways of frequencies open our sub-conscious mind helping us access guides, totems and insights for healing and understanding according to our own individuals need.
The Journey itself is approximately 30 to 40 min. The rest is preparation and processing.
WHAT TO BRING
Rising Tide International provides, yoga mats, bolsters, blankets and pillows and you may wish to bring your own for your comfort. Also bring something with which to cover your eyes for darkness and bring a spirit stone or rock, ( one which calls to you.) It will become your Wotai stone, or Sacred Stone and hold the experience for you. Those who have journeyed with me may have one already have one! Bring a pad and paper to notate your Journey, while it is still fresh.

An 8 Week freshen up course remembering the principles and tools of the
Law of Attraction. Thru December 17 on Mondays.
It may be incumbent upon some of us now, to once again revisit, remember and review the processes, good tools,and principles of the Law of Attraction (LOA.) We are assisted by Esther and Jerry Hicks in their book,
“Ask and It Is Given.” Another name for LOA is the Law of Cause and Effect
and or the Law of Sow/Reap.
Working with the Law of Attraction is an exercise in mindful consciousness. It brings us to the understanding that we truly live in the realities of the present (pre sent) moment and that we are co-creators of these realities.
In this class we understand that we are all co-creators and that when one “ASKS,” then it is indeed "GIVEN." We are encouraged to live in its actualization. The workings of this Law are subtle and specific. It is each person's own "inside job" in alliance with Source.
This is a progressive, leading edge class to enhance and expand our spiritual understanding, growth, well-being and connection to Source and Highest Guidance.
Class includes a meditation and a review each week of ones or two the 22 processes contained in the Ask and It is Given book.
Rev. Zan Benham has taught the Law of Attraction for 10+ years. She is a Universal New Thought minister, a Sufi Cherag, a spiritual counselor, certified hypnotist, shamanic practitioner, Reiki Master teacher and a ceremonialist.
